ABOUT ME:
Sophie has helped develop material for a variety of writers across both film & TV with a particular focus on drama, sci-fi and horror. She has worked with some of the UK’s most prolific actors including Andrew Lincoln, Theo James, Damian Lewis, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, identifying key IP (intellectual property) within the market. She has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has pitched to the likes of HBO, Netflix, Amazon, Film4, Bad Robot, Left Bank Pictures, Sony, and StudioCanal. She is currently working with BAFTA winning writer Sarah Mills to develop an upcoming TV series, and developing a feature film for Kristian Nairn (GAME OF THRONES).

Prior to producing, Sophie worked for several years in talent management, casting, and production. She specializes in working with newer writers, guiding them through the process, and knows exactly how to pull out the best in the writer, whilst keeping to the writer’s vision as best as possible, and keeping commerciality and USPs in mind.

Sophie is also leading development on various other projects including a TV comedy drama by Zahra Barri (who has had her writing feature on Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, Radio 2, BBC Asian Network and BBC Period Dramas online), and an upcoming high fantasy TV saga, which she has written herself.
