Uplifting TRUE STORIES, ANIMATION, LIVE ACTION, LGBTQ+ and stories that follow super specific subcultures in FEATURE and TV formats.

Mike Flavin most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Development at Cartuna, an animation studio based out of Brooklyn. While there, he sold projects to UCP, 20th Studios, YouTube Red, and Westbrook Studios while also producing Cartuna’s anime short KEVIN! Before diving into animation, he brought in and set up an episodic rebooting of THE WOOD with Gunpowder & Sky, which went to pilot in 2022. In addition, Mike produced SUMMER OF 84, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival as well as ROCK STEADY ROW which won the award for best feature at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival.

Mike’s career has spanned a number of mediums, from management, live action feature, live action episodic, digital – both short form and long form, as well as animation. He is passionate about uplifting, every person stories that challenge the viewer to apply small changes of decency to themselves in an attempt to make the world a better place.
