THE BOOK OF ELI
THE LATE BLOOMER
Jesse is a film and television producer based in Los Angeles. He’s currently producing the TV comedy THE TUTOR and a few independent features. Most recently, he was EVP at Ineffable Pictures, where he produced THE LATE BLOOMER for Momentum and Netflix, starring Johnny Simmons, J.K. Simmons, Jane Lynch, Maria Bello, and Brittany Snow.
A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Jesse attended Dartmouth College. Upon graduation, he moved to New York City, where he rose through the ranks of NBC from a lowly, tour-giving page to an Associate Producer at Dateline NBC, where he worked on news events such as the 2000 election, the Columbine tragedy, and 9/11.
Admittance into the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC brought him to Los Angeles, during which he interned at Warner Brothers Pictures and Village Roadshow, and worked full-time at Circle of Confusion during his second year. After graduation, he worked for Silver Pictures, and then spent over four years as an executive at Alcon Entertainment, during which he was involved with films such as THE BLIND SIDE, THE BOOK OF ELI, DOLPHIN TALE, P.S. I LOVE YOU, SOMETHING BORROWED, and LOTTERY TICKET.
