Chris Goldberg

What I’m Looking For:

Features and scripted TV series across genres, particularly SCI-FI, THRILLERS, HORROR, and great TRUE STORIES, including TRUE CRIME.

About Me:

Chris started his career in New York as a literary scout for 20th Century Fox where he was involved in the rights deals for GONE GIRL, THE MARTIAN, and THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, all three of which were #1 at the Box Office and #1 on the NYT Bestseller List. He also found Dennis Lehane’s short story “Animal Rescue” for the studio, which became the Fox Searchlight movie THE DROP starring Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini, Lehane’s first film as a screenwriter.

He then served as an EVP at Jeff Robinov’s Studio 8 where he worked on films like WHITE BOY RICK starring Matthew McConaughey and ALPHA, directed by Albert Hughes. At that time, he set up his family story SUPERMODEL SNOWPOCALYPSE at Paramount with Paul Feig attached to direct, based on an Elle Magazine article he developed with Mickey Rapkin (PITCH PERFECT).

As a producer, Chris focuses on developing projects across feature film, TV, and streaming platforms. He has projects with a number of top filmmakers and talent including Paul Giamatti, Connie Britton, Ed Helms, Chad Staheslki, Yann Demange, and many others and projects in the works at Netflix, Amazon Studios, Showtime, Universal, and MGM.
