ABOUT ME:
Carlos J Koustas is a producer, EP and development executive with over 15 years experience in the industry. Having worked on various TV and streaming projects , he has focused on producing, scripted and non-scripted productions. Having worked with national TV networks such as TRUTV, BET, SPIKE VH1, LIFETIME, COMCAST and more, as well as production companies and studios across the world, he focuses on content that is: authentic, universal audience emotional connection, global/local and has commercial viability.

Carlos was the creator, writer and showrunner for LAFFMOBB’S LAFFTRACKS on TRUTV (2019), He worked as Head of Production at Ximen Media Group and produced the ABFF AWARDS, BMAC AWARDS and various comedy specials. Carlos also was a talent manager at SPIVAK MANAGEMENT in Hollywood California. Carlos also has a sports journalist background producing content for The NFL’s OAKLAND RAIDERS as a writer and produced on RAIDERS.COM. His years of working experience in script development & production of urban content adds a sense of out-of-the-box thinking to the landscape allowing a unique perspective with high-quality results in terms of storytelling, structure, production set-up and financing.

Carlos has a BA in Film & TV with a minor in Advertising from San Jose State University
