About Me:
Aaron has been a working screenwriter and producer for over twenty years. He is best known for co-creating and co-writing the successful AIR BUD family film franchise, which has sired eleven sequels to date.
Aaron recently wrote the feature PRINCES for Warner Bros and producer Akiva Goldsman and the drama pilots BAD MEDICINE for Spike TV and THE ASSOCIATE for Sony. Currently he’s writing the romantic comedy LIKE CATS & DOGS for Hallmark. Other produced projects include the perennial ABC Family holiday movie THE 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS, the Lifetime TV movie CHANGE OF HEART, the Fox TV series KINDRED: THE EMBRACED, the Cartoon Network pilot HOODS, the family film THE THREE INVESTIGATORS AND THE SECRET OF TERROR CASTLE, and the independent feature CHAPTER ZERO, which he also directed. Aaron has also written film and TV projects for Fox, New Line, Showtime, Paramount, New Regency, Hasbro Studios, Bob Yari, Lightstorm, Arnold Kopelson and others.
For the past several years Aaron has also been working in new media, writing and producing web series and branded entertainment for clients such as AOL, NBCU Digital, Intel, Group M, Paramount Digital, Party City, Mark Burnett, Ace Hardware, Mindshare, Audi, Unilever, Ford and many other top media companies, agencies and brands.
In addition to his writing career, Aaron is a professor of screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University. He also does a lot of committee work with the Writers Guild of America West and was recently elected to his second term as Secretary-Treasurer. Prior to that he served five terms on the WGAW Board of Directors.
