Logline:  True story of Jeanne Boyce, a gifted musician who overcame a disability, became an inspirational teacher at the Arkansas School for the Blind, and frees herself from her manipulative husband.   Congratulations to Voyage client Rod Clemmons on his project becoming an Original. Rod signed up for our Screenplay program and worked with producer Denise Carlson and all star writer Shelia Boyd to produce a feature screenplay and treatment that will now be taken to market.

Logline: During the Civil War, a teen-aged mixed-race Cherokee uses the skills of her upbringing as an undercover operative for America’s first detective agency.  Hooray for Jeri Fonte who came to Voyage with her incredible idea for a TV series titled PINKERTON GIRL. After her Pitch a Producer, Jeri got teamed with producer Adam Prince and together, through a custom development program, they crafted an hour-long period thriller TV pilot and a cinematic pitch deck that Adam is now actively shopping. Congratulations!

In 2018, the FBI ran a sprawling surveillance operation into suspected contract killer Richard "Rico" Sanders and his employer Frank Litvak's extensive criminal operation. When Rico was dispatched to Hawaii to kill a fence who had stolen an invaluable piece of jewelry from Litvak, everything that could go wrong, did. These are the FBI surveillance tapes. ALIVE DAY (Feature) is based on the novel “Six Days to Zeus” by Samuel Hill. Screenplay by Voyage’s own Kathleen McLaughlin - now being produced in partnership with Oscar-nominated Mike Medavoy (BLACK SWAN, ALTERED CARBON) and with Phillip Noyce (SALT, REVENGE, CLEAR & PRESENT DANGER) attached to direct. Logline: Based on a true story, when a top Special Operations commander loses his entire team in a friendly fire incident that leaves his body wrecked, he finds himself facing a court martial and a life back home that is falling apart. With the help of an FBI Agent and a committed lawyer, he finds a way to overcome adversities and establish a program to help other Special Op veterans.

Logline: Ensemble that follows the lives of five women serving in the military. In series, our band of sisters is tested when one of their own is the victim of a workplace sexual assault. Based on the memoir of Master Sgt. Lila Holley (ret.), an outspoken public advocate for women veterans.

Logline: The true story of a woman’s fight for justice and her deep transformative friendship with Shaka Sankofa, a man sentenced to die at age 17 for a crime he did not commit. Their fight would lead to an international outpouring of support before his death by lethal injection on June 22, 2000. Shaka Sankofa was the 244th prisoner to be killed by the State of Texas after the US Supreme Court imposed a moratorium on the use of the death penalty after acknowledging statistical evidence that race plays a critical role in who is put to death.  Big shout out to Ashanti Chimurenga who signed up for a Pitch a Producer session and later worked with Producer Kathleen McLaughlin who guided her to create a pitch document for a feature film. Ashanti’s project is now a Voyage Original being shopped by Kathleen.

Logline: Following a series of tragic events, a reserved author begins to open her heart after meeting a handsome marketing executive who moves into her apartment complex around Christmas. Big shout out to Cynthia! Cynthia came to Voyage with her own original holiday film CHRISTMAS MAGIC and worked expeditiously with producer Dave Hickey to create a feature screenplay. Cynthia's project is now a Voyage Original that is being shopped by Dave.

Logline: Based on the true story of Ching Shih, a female Chinese pirate who rose from poverty, slavery, and abuse to mastermind and command the world's largest pirate empire in the early 19th century. Congratulations to Karen Hermanson whose true-life action drama based on the life story of Ching Shih was developed here at Voyage through a custom program with producer Kathleen McLaughlin.

Logline: A man in the modern day experiences flashbacks to a previous life during the American Civil War. Driven by a search for meaning, he embarks on a journey to retrace the romantic and tragic life of the unknown soldier, while jeopardizing his present-day relationships. Based on a true story.

Logline: Inspirational, feel-good, half-hour anthology TV series about the beautifully broken lives of people who have been given a second chance at life through the gift of an organ transplant. Kudos to client, Fiona Stefanis! Fiona came to Voyage with a very inspiring idea that producer Arden Pryor was so keen to develop that he chose to serve as producer and writer. Together they created a pilot and series bible that Arden is now shopping.

Produced by Ryan Heppe and penned by writer Jeff Knight, this compelling narrative centers on a troubled young woman who discovers she holds the key to Judgement Day in the ultimate clash between Heaven and Hell. Logline:  In 1962 after her father's murder, San Francisco art gallarist Sarah LeGrande heads to Argentina with a horse-trading playboy to find out why and uncovers an international conspiracy to reconstitute Nazi power under a new Fourth Reich.   Hats off to Voyage client Robert Means on his project, 'The Adrian Account,'. Produced by Adam Prince and written by Abe Frank, this gripping tale follows San Francisco art gallerist Sarah LeGrande in 1962 as she teams up with a horse-trading playboy to solve her father's murder. Logline: A woman and her parents are rescued from a robot uprising by a benevolent robot, but does the robot hide a sinister agenda to to possess her for itself?   Congratulations to Voyage client Julie Dykes on her project, 'The Model,' becoming a Voyage Original. Julie alongside writer by Adi Tantimedh and producer Michael Chamoy crafted a feature screenplay and one sheet that tells a thrilling tale of a woman and her parents who are rescued from a robot uprising. However, questions arise about whether there is a more sinister agenda. Michael is excited to shop THE MODEL and see this story come to life.

Logline: Sent to live with his strange uncle, pre-teen Brodie Adkins faces incredible danger and deals with a brave girl as he helps solve mysteries and defend the unique residents of Monstrovia- a secret sector of the United States where humans are a minority.

Logline:  For Grace Becker, surviving a messy divorce is nothing compared to having her son quit college and move back in, and her aging parents buying the house next door.  Kudos to Voyage client Tracy Kraus, whose project, SUNDOWNER, is our latest Voyage Original! Developed with producer Ilyssa Goodman and writer Leigh Dunlap, this relatable drama centers on Grace Becker, who faces the challenges of a messy divorce, her son moving back in, and her aging parents moving next door. Logline:  Secretly feeling responsible for his best friends death, a recovering alcoholic searches for redemption by saving his friends widow from certain destruction when she blames herself for the accident, but in the end only the truth can save them both.  We are thrilled to celebrate Voyage client Paul Savarese.
