Logline:  The most sought after wedding planner this side of the Rockies finds herself the subject of an FBI Investigation when her scheming husband skips town and leaves her holding the bag. Inspired by the real life experiences of celebrity wedding planner JoAnn Moore.   Let's throw confetti in the air for our incredible Voyage client JoAnn Moore! Her TV pilot, 'The Happiest Day of Your Life,' is now a Voyage Original, and we couldn't be more thrilled. JoAnn joined forces with our Head of Originals, Robert Mitas, and the whip smart writer, Lydia Genner, to craft this delightful romantic dramedy inspired from JoAnn's real-life escapades as a celebrity wedding planner. Mia collaborated with our Head of Originals Robert Mitas and writer Lydia Genner to shape her experience in the cut throat start up world into a whip smart, griping half hour script and series bible that Robert will be taking to market.

Logline:  A precocious young girl and her sisters navigate the complicated transition from childhood to adolescence as Cuba transitions from Batista’s rule to the oppressive Castro regime.   Congratulations to Ivis Campos for successfully completing our PP Story and B2S Screenplay programs! Ivis came to Voyage with her captivating memoir, "Cuba: Light and Obscurity," a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of the Cuban Revolution and Fidel Castro's rise to power." Paired with producer Chris Leitch and writer Ruby Hernandez, they collaborated to create an impressive one-hour drama TV pilot script and Series Bible, which Chris will now be shopping as an exciting Voyage Original.

Logline:  An African-American woman learns her family has supernatural powers and are descended from a line of were-panthers, and becomes the target of an evil corporate pharmaceutical conspiracy.   Congratulations to Pamela Lawson who pitched her project RISE OF RAVENISHA to producer Amanda Toye, Amanda was immediately impressed with Pamela's story and agreed to take it straight to market with the help of a look book designed by the Voyage team.

Logline:  On the verge of giving up her novelist dreams, a bi-racial woman suffering a crisis of identity learns her grandmother has died under mysterious circumstances and heads to rural Wisconsin to find out why; but when a vicious group of white supremacists led by the local Sheriff try to keep her from uncovering the truth, she’ll have to learn to believe in herself to solve her grandmother’s murder and stop the white supremacists from carrying out a racially motivated act of domestic terrorism.   A successful biracial writer struggling with a crisis of identity returns home to her midwestern hometown to investigate her black grandmother's death, only to uncover a deep conspiracy of white supremacists.

Logline:  When his mercenary brother is accused of assassinating a US senator, a lawyer must team up with his brother's mysterious girlfriend to clear his name.   A big round of applause for Kat Sparks whose action thriller Runaway Wolves is now a Voyage Original. When Kat came to us with her idea, she was paired with producer Michael Chamoy and writer Adi Tantimedh in our Screenplay Program. Through these programs the team was able to develop and produce a compelling final feature screenplay and treatment that are ready to be taken to market.

Logline: When a killer is granted early release from prison, old wounds are reopened, and the female detective who put him behind bars will be tasked with solving a new string of murders  Congratulations to Ben Nicholls! Ben came to Voyage with a published novel and worked with producer Ryan Heppe and writer Abe Frank. Together they completed a feature screenplay that is now being shopped by Ryan.

Logline:  In 1950s Scotland, an adopted girl struggles to find her place in the world. As she faces bullying, abuse, and loneliness, she finds solace in her friendship with another outcast, who helps her navigate the truth of her adoption.   Celebrate Voyage client Jill Powell, whose captivating drama feature "FINDING GILLIAN" has recently become an Original. Jill graced our team with her poignant novel, drawing inspiration from her real-life story, and collaborated with the talented producer Sophie Ellwood and writer Natalie London to craft her story into an awe-inspiring screenplay and treatment. Sophie is excited to bring this remarkable story to market.

Logline:  When a high-powered centrist senator encounters her free-spirited old flame, now a famous actress, she embraces her second-chance love affair and risks losing her marriage and political career.   Join us in applauding Susan Lander whose feature screenplay SWING VOTE BLUES is ready to be taken to market. Susan pitched her political romance to producer Matthew Ducey who was wowed by the writing and the concept. The two worked together in a Development Custom program to produce a Look book that will now be used to shop.

Logline:  Six hikers in a secluded forest are prey for an unseen evil - a vicious harpy of ancient lore.   Congratulations to Bruce Troxell who just completed our Screenplay program! Bruce came to voyage with his idea for The Regret and with producer Michael Chamoy and writer Matt Wolfe the team produced a TV pilot and treatment that Michael is now shopping as a Voyage Original.

Logline:  A Jewish rebel and his soulmate (married to a governor) navigate treacherous politics as war looms with the Roman Empire. Inspired by events of true history.   Kudos to Ward Sanford whose pilot CRY JERUSALEM is now a Voyage Original. Ward signed up for our B2S screenplay program and worked with producer Aaron Semmel and writer Michael Chamoy to produce a riveting TV pilot that Aaron is excited to take to market.

Logline: An intelligent college sophomore falls for a handsome stranger, but when she refuses to sleep with him, her charming prince becomes a ruthless stalker dead set on destroying her life…Congratulations to Laurie Maloney who came to Voyage with her memoir and worked with producer Dave Hickey to develop and feature screenplay. Don't Say A Word is now a Voyage Original being shopped by Dave.

Logline:  When a lonely 16-year-old transfer student pursues her young substitute teacher, she uses her writing talent to lure him into a relationship... only to discover he's done this before.   Shout out to Laura Turcsak on completing our PP Screenplay program under the guidance of producer Bonnie Solomon. Laura wrote a feature screenplay based on a true story and executed a fantastic final script and pitch deck that is now being shopped.

Logline:  Nellie Cashman, a bold business woman and one of the first female miners, risks her life on a remarkable journey of survival across the Canadian wilderness to rescue her colleagues and closest friends.   Congratulations to Voyage client Carol Purroy who came to us for coaching and a desire to write her own screenplay. She was paired with producer Amanda Toye in our Professionals Program and delivered a solid feature script that will now be taken to market.

Logline:  True story of Jeanne Boyce, a gifted musician who overcame a disability, became an inspirational teacher at the Arkansas School for the Blind, and frees herself from her manipulative husband.   Congratulations to Voyage client Rod Clemmons on his project becoming an Original. Rod signed up for our Screenplay program and worked with producer Denise Carlson and all star writer Shelia Boyd to produce a feature screenplay and treatment that will now be taken to market.

Logline: During the Civil War, a teen-aged mixed-race Cherokee uses the skills of her upbringing as an undercover operative for America’s first detective agency.  Hooray for Jeri Fonte who came to Voyage with her incredible idea for a TV series titled PINKERTON GIRL. After her Pitch a Producer, Jeri got teamed with producer Adam Prince and together, through a custom development program, they crafted an hour-long period thriller TV pilot and a cinematic pitch deck that Adam is now actively shopping. Congratulations!

In 2018, the FBI ran a sprawling surveillance operation into suspected contract killer Richard "Rico" Sanders and his employer Frank Litvak's extensive criminal operation. When Rico was dispatched to Hawaii to kill a fence who had stolen an invaluable piece of jewelry from Litvak, everything that could go wrong, did. These are the FBI surveillance tapes. Logline: Based on a true story, when a top Special Operations commander loses his entire team in a friendly fire incident that leaves his body wrecked, he finds himself facing a court martial and a life back home that is falling apart. With the help of an FBI Agent and a committed lawyer, he finds a way to overcome adversities and establish a program to help other Special Op veterans.

Logline: Ensemble that follows the lives of five women serving in the military. In series, our band of sisters is tested when one of their own is the victim of a workplace sexual assault. Based on the memoir of Master Sgt. Lila Holley (ret.), an outspoken public advocate for women veterans.

Logline: The true story of a woman’s fight for justice and her deep transformative friendship with Shaka Sankofa, a man sentenced to die at age 17 for a crime he did not commit. Their fight would lead to an international outpouring of support before his death by lethal injection on June 22, 2000. Shaka Sankofa was the 244th prisoner to be killed by the State of Texas after the US Supreme Court imposed a moratorium on the use of the death penalty after acknowledging statistical evidence that race plays a critical role in who is put to death.  Big shout out to Ashanti Chimurenga who signed up for a Pitch a Producer session and later worked with Producer Kathleen McLaughlin who guided her to create a pitch document for a feature film. Ashanti’s project is now a Voyage Original being shopped by Kathleen.

Logline: Following a series of tragic events, a reserved author begins to open her heart after meeting a handsome marketing executive who moves into her apartment complex around Christmas. Big shout out to Cynthia! Cynthia came to Voyage with her own original holiday film CHRISTMAS MAGIC and worked expeditiously with producer Dave Hickey to create a feature screenplay.
