ABOUT ME:
Lisa Bao most recently worked as a Co-Producer/Writer on NANCY DREW (CW) where she rose from staff writer to co-producer during its four seasons. During her time on Nancy Drew, Lisa wrote and co-wrote 8 episodes of the hit series, which streams internationally on HBO Max. In
addition, Lisa produced all her episodes by working closely with the directors and crew in shaping the episodes from inception through air. Prior to staffing on Nancy Drew, Lisa was selected as a 2018 CAPE New Writers Mentoring Program fellow and 2018/2019 CBS Writers Mentoring Program fellow, which launched her career in television and staffed her on her first show. In a former life, Lisa worked as a civil litigator in a variety of firms dealing with a diverse range of legal issues ranging from sports law,
family law, trust and estates, to real estate. Her experiences as a lawyer frequently inspires her writing.

Lisa was originally born in Shenyang, China, and immigrated to the U.S. at age seven with her parents. She lived all over the U.S. before settling down in southern California, where she attended one of the most competitive magnet high schools. After that, she attended the University of California, Irvine, and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
